When do the courses run?

As an example, the Hotel Receptionist course runs once every month and is carried out during the following hours:

When should I register?
It is recommended that you register three weeks in advance of the start date for each course. If you find a course is fully booked, you will be able to register on the waiting list for each course. This can be done online or by emailing info@receptionacademy.com and requesting to be placed on the waiting list.
Will Reception Academy help me find work?
Reception Academy not only offers training on relevant skills which hotels look for, we give guidance and experience in finding work with hotels. With thousands of hotels in London alone, there are plenty of employment opportunities in one of these Hotels, after completing our tailor made courses.
Once a course is completed, a profile is created for each graduate on our website. This profile will consist of their professional photograph; personal contact details as well as a brand new professional, hotel specified CV which we help create. All of this is included in the course rate*.
After graduating, Hotels have access to these profiles and can ask graduates to come in for an interview. We have numerous hotels which hire our graduates and our programme is designed towards getting this result. Over 90% of our graduates are successfully employed by hotels. We have graduates working as staff, including Hotel Receptionists in major Hotels such as Hilton, Hyatt and Four Seasons.

Where is the Academy?
This course will be held at our Training Academy located at 16 Brune Street, E1 7NJ, about a 5 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and Aldgate East. Whitechapel over ground is nearby as well as a number of different buses heading towards the City.

What is the cost of the courses?
We aim to keep the cost of all our courses very affordable and good value for money. To find out rates for the course follow this link www.receptionacademy.com/courses , where you will see a list of all courses and rates.
What are the payment options ?
All courses can be paid either in instalments or in full. Instalment rates are normally about 10% more than upfront payments. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash payments. If you are overseas we can provide you with our bank details so that you can arrange a transfer.

Students can either pay online using a valid credit card or in cash at the Academy.

How do I register and book a course?
To register, simply follow this link www.receptionacademy.com/courses chose the course you want to do then:
- Decide the preferred start date for your course
- Select your preferred time
- Choose your payment option (paid-in-full discounted rate or instalment rate)
- Enter your full details, including your address, so we can send you a confirmation letter and receipt by post (for Visa Applications Only).
- Choose a password
- Press check out
- You will now need to enter your credit card details – please ensure that “Card Holder Address” is entered as the address.
- Upon completion you will need to press “Confirm booking and Pay” showing you the exact amount you have agreed to pay above.
- You should now receive an email confirmation along with an attachment which is a small questionnaire. Kindly print this off, complete and return to the class on your first day.

What are the requirements for doing this course?
Anyone from any country or any age can do this course. You need to have just a basic knowledge of the English language to do the course. You are NOT required to have a degree or a certificate to prove your level of English or to be eligible to do the course. The Hospitality industry hires people from all backgrounds and ages as long as you have a valid UK work permit and the right attitude and passion.
What do I need to wear?
Dress code for the course is smart casual clothes, no jogging suits but you can wear jeans.You need to have a suit and a shirt – a tie if you are a boy- Ladies do not have to wear a skirt with their suit but boys will need to wear a tiem. The suit is worn only at the graduation, profile picture day and practical exam day.
What do I need to bring to the classroom?
The Academy provides all the students with access to a dedicated laptop, so you do NOT need to bring one. You will also get a note pad and pen, so you only need to bring with you the answers to the course questionaire (4 week course only), balcony disclaimer (4 week course only) and contact detail form and of course your passion for the Hospitality industry.
Please remember to print out the directions and bring them with you so that you can find us easier the first time you visit.
