Upon completion of The Receptionist Courses the graduates will have the relevant skills, required knowledge, experience and confidence to work as a Hotel Receptionist in different hotels. We have a number of hotels which hire graduates from us upon completion, whilst we do not guarantee any one a job we will immensely increase their chances of finding employment in hotels as our programme is designed towards this result.

Fidelio Opera PMS V5 Full Service

The Receptionist Training includes relevant Front of House training on Fidelio Opera Property Management System. Fidelio Opera is a Property Management System, used by a majority of Hotels to run their reservations, reception, conference & events, accounts, etc. When talking to Hotels we were advised that if our graduates who had completed The Receptionist Courses are also taught Fidelio Opera their chances of finding employment in Hotels would be much higher. Due to this high demand we decided to introduce the latest version of Fidelio Opera as part of the Receptionist Training and we have seen the result already. Many of the graduates that have completed the Receptionist Courses including training on Fidelio Opera, have now found jobs in major Hotels in London.

The Hotel Receptionist Training

The Receptionist Training takes place at our Academy near Liverpool Street Station. We only allow a maximum number of 16 students per Receptionist Course which is why the course gets full quickly. During the Receptionist Training Course, each student gets dedicated lap top with Fidelio Opera programmed on it. The Receptionist Courses also include relevant training behind our replica reception desk. Throughout the Receptionist Course each student will carry out many check-ins & check-outs behind the desk using Fidelio Opera reservation system. The Receptionist Training also includes CV writing skills. During the Receptionist Course you are guided to create a new CV in a simple format which enables Hotels to clearly understand who you are and what your skills are. This is important as the HR Managers in Hotels are often too busy to sieve through unnecessary details on CVs. Throughout the Receptionist Course you are taught exactly how to highlight relevant information on your CVs. Another equally important aspect of The Receptionist Course is the Interview Skills section. During the Receptionist Training you are taught fundamental interviewing skills. From what to wear, to what to say and how to follow up an interview, The Receptionist Training Course covers it all. A Career Path Planning section during the Receptionist Course shows the students what their futures in Hospitality could potentially be like. Payment Details for The Receptionist Course

Reception Academy runs The Hotel Receptionist Training Courses each month from our Academy in London E1 7NJ. You will usually have the choice of choosing between a morning Receptionist Training Course from 7.30-11.30, a mid morning Receptionist Training Course from 12.00-16.00 and the evening Receptionist Training Course from 7.30-11.30 from 16.30 – 20.30, unless a class is fully booked. In the event that you see The Receptionist Course is fully booked you can ask to be placed on a waiting list.

Payment methods for the Receptionist Training Courses are as follows:

Full payments are usually at a lower discounted rate (please refer to book your course for full fees of the course)

If you are currently working and get paid at the end of the month, we can allow you to pay in three equal instalments however the rate for this method of payment is normally 10% higher
