CPD (Continued Professional Development) Explained
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. It refers to the process of tracking and documenting the skills, knowledge and experience that you gain both formally and informally as you train at Reception Academy. It is a record of what you experience, learn and then apply.
The recording and accumulating of CPD points helps you manage and track your own development on an ongoing basis. It also greatly enhances your competitiveness in the workplace and shows recruiters that you have invested time and money into your own development with a recognised and credible training provider.
What can I do with my CPD points?
Learners who successfully complete a Reception Academy endorsed programme are eligible for the Affiliate grade of membership and following an assessment, may also meet the requirements for a higher grade of membership with the prestigious Institute of Hospitality (IOH).
What do I need to do to gain CPD points
If you take a course at Reception Academy you do not need to take any further action and you will automatically be rewarded your CPD points with the course certification on completion of your course.
